Project Description

The successor to the award-winning Oceans of Time blends resource management and interactive fiction for a space survival epic where death is one wrong decision away.

As Commander Nyx, explore a vast galaxy that is different every time you play, as you search for the Archon; a cosmic villain set on dominating the civilizations of the galaxy.

Encounter other strange lifeforms and learn to communicate, trade, and conduct diplomacy as you build a coalition of allies in your mission to find the Archon.

Recruit new members from the alien races you cross paths with, and build a team capable of traversing the cosmos. Manage your crew, your ship and its systems; the mission’s success is down to your decisions as Commander.

My work on the project

Since the game release didn't reach the expectation of the community I was in charge of being sure to rise the quality of the update and ensure a good experience for players

​

I worked as a freelancer in close collaboration with the game designers to create new expeditions for their upcoming update REDSHIFT 

​

  • Designing layouts, keeping track of iterations, and updating map documents

  • Ensuring high-quality encounters by testing and organizing playtests

  • Report bugs, Proactivity & benchmark prototypes

​

I created a lot of prototypes as well as set up a Rational Level Design document to balance the difficulty across the expeditions.
